The Hanover Educational Institute is the only one of its kind in the Parish of Hanover. The Institute caters primarily to slow learners, dropouts, underachievers and others who are seeking to further their educational development. “Children born into poverty tend to remain poor for many reasons, one preeminent reason is that they are much less likely to succeed in school. A cause of school failure among children in poverty is that they are not “ready to learn” when they enter school, and they seldom catch up”. The Institute has embarked on a cost-effective approach and is playing a vital role in empowering individuals through adolescent academic intervention programs, professional and personal development.
